Jan Vojtek finished his MA studies at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest in the class of prof. Attila Némethy and Balázs Réti.

He successfully participated in many competitions such as Prague Junior Note (2003), International Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte contest (2007), Kaunas Sonorum International Contest (2011), Prague Talent Competition (2012) or Euregio Piano Award International piano competition (2018).

As a part of his studies, he took part in one month study programme at Tokyo College of Music in Japan and took part in the Tel-Hai International Piano Masterclasses in Israel, where he won the Marina Bondarenko Prize for the best students of the masterclass.

In the 2017/18 season, Jan was one of the laureates of the L´Europe du Piano project and recently performed his debut recitals at festivals Piano aux Jacobins and Piano en Valois in France as well as solo and chamber music concerts in Portugal, Canada and Germany.

He regularly performs with orchestras such as Brno Philharmonic, Györ Philharmonic Orchestra or Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc.
