KRISTINA VOCETKOVÁ, CELLO

Kristina Vocetková obtained her MA degree in the class of Professor Onczay Csaba at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, where she also finished her post-gradual chamber music studies in 2021.


Kristina has participated in more than 20 national and international competitions where she won mostly first prizes and laureate titles. These include Prague Junior Note (2003), Violoncello festival Augustin Prochazka in Slovakia (2004), Talents for Europe in Slovakia (2008, 2012), Heran's international cello competiton (2009), Rudolf Matz competition in Dubrovnik (2010), Sforzando competition in Berlin (2011), International Cello Competition in Liezen (2012), competition held by the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation in Prague (2017) and most recently International Anton Rubinstein competition in Berlin (2018).


During her studies Kristina participated in master classes of professors such as R. Wallfish, J. Pernoo, D. Geringas, C. Bohórquez, R. Aaron and others.


Apart of chamber music Kristina is also performing as a soloist. She played with multiple Czech orchestras (Barocco sempre giovane, Suk's Chamber Orchestra, Pavel Haas Chamber Orchestra, North Bohemian Philharmonic and others). Kristina performed in Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Croatia, Germany, France and U.S.A.
